Ireland has announced their 15-men Squad for the Cricket World Cup 2011. William Porterfield will lead the team for the World Cup 2011.
Former English batsman Ed Joyce, who has been cleared by ICC to play for Ireland has been picked in the 15-man Ireland squad.
The Ireland cricket team represents both political entities on the island of Ireland - the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. The team has qualified for the first time in this World Cup. Trent Johnston was the captain of Ireland cricket team for the ICC World Cup 2007.
The list includes :William Porterfield (captain), Alex Cusack, Ed Joyce, George Dockrell, Trent Johnston, Gary Wilson (wk), Nigel Jones, John Mooney, Kevin O'Brien (wk), Niall O'Brien, Boyd Rankin, Albert van der Merwe, Paul Stirling, Andre Botha and Andrew White.
